My students love to play the sight word game BANG! That's the one where you make up a set of word cards and some extra ones that say BANG! The children, in large or small groups, pass around a container, filled with the words. One at a time, they choose a word card. If they can read it, they keep it. If not, they put it back in the container. If they pick a BANG! card, they have to put ALL their cards back into the container.
Well, I decided to make some seasonal/holiday games for my students to play. I love games that help my students memorize these very important words. They have such fun playing and don't realize my hidden agenda! These are the games I've made so far:
